About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you’ll be responsible for managing the CEO’s schedule, coordinating correspondence and meetings, and ensuring the smooth operation of Board activities. You’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders, maintain records, and support good governance practices in partnership with the Company Secretary.
You’ll play a central role in ensuring that executive and board functions operate efficiently, professionally and with integrity.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-level executive support to the CEO, including diary, email and travel management
• Draft and format correspondence, reports, and presentations
• Coordinate the preparation and distribution of Board and Committee meeting papers
• Liaise with the Board Chair to prepare agendas and arrange logistics for meetings and events
• Take and distribute accurate minutes for Board, Committee and General Meetings
• Maintain records, registers, and governance documents in line with legal and organisational requirements
• Administer the board portal and ensure professional document presentation
• Support ASIC and ACNC compliance activities as required
What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience in a senior executive support or board secretariat role
• Excellent written communication and document presentation skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• High level of discretion, integrity and sound judgement
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships at all levels
• Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and board software
• A calm, flexible and proactive approach to problem solving
Qualifications & Requirements
• Qualification in office administration, executive support or a related field
• Minimum five years’ experience in an executive assistant role
• Company Secretary training or experience (highly regarded)
• Full Australian working rights
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
