The Cessnock District Hospital, a 36-bed facility, provides vital medical services to the local community, including emergency, surgical, and general care. They are looking for proactive and dedicated Registered Nurses to join their tight-knit, supportive team. About The Role

In this role, you'll be working across our medical and surgical wards, delivering high-quality, efficient, and effective care tailored to the individual needs of patients and their families or carers. You'll play a key role in supporting informed decision-making, advocating for patients, and contributing to safe and seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver person-centred care that meets the individual needs of patients and their families/carers
* Act as a patient advocate and support informed decision-making
* Facilitate appropriate referrals to support discharge planning
* Respond effectively to emergencies and changes in patient condition
* Appropriately delegate tasks to ENs and AINs within their scope and competencies
* Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team

About You

You will bring:
* Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* A strong commitment to ongoing professional development
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* A patient-first approach and a passion for continuous improvement in care delivery
