Our business requires a Property Support Professional to assist with lease negotiations, review of lease documents and provide recommendations. The successful candidate will work closely with the Property Manager and other teams to obtain direction on renewal terms, CAPEX and fit out requirements.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
* Assisting with lease negotiations
* Reviewing lease documents and providing recommendations
* Obtaining direction from relevant departments on renewal terms, CAPEX and fit out requirements
* Working with the Finance Department on financial modelling of stores
* Preparing lease renewal or pre-project papers
* Compiling information on site selection for brands
* Providing fortnightly reports on lease renewal status
* Updating the Property Tracker WIP with commentary and financial information
* Managing Storage Licences, including short-term Christmas storage requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* An undergraduate qualification in a property-related discipline
* Previous experience and exposure within retail property
* A proven ability to drive cultural change with a collaborative style
* The ability to share information effectively and influence others
* Financial and accounting skills
* A commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
* Skillful customer engagement
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Data interpretation and communication skills
* Basic knowledge of contract law
* Familiarity with Lease Eagle and Basware an advantage
