This is a new position created to develop and implement human resource policies and procedures that align with Australian legislation and regulations that will support organisational growth. Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide internal stakeholders with advice and support relating to people matters.
- Provide efficient, responsive and high-quality HR Services to managers, employees and wider stakeholders across the business.
- Provide advice, coaching, feedback and support to leaders and staff to effectively manage the performance management process, reviews & improvement plans.
- Prepare and assist in the drafting and developing of related HR documentation and correspondence includes letters, reports and presentations.
- Advise managers on Contracts and terms and conditions of employment.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including employment contracts on-boarding and inductions for new staff.
- Draft Letters of Offer, Contracts of Employment and Variation Letters.
- Respond to Employee enquiries.
- Ensure employee personnel information and files are properly stored in accordance with legislative requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience in a Human Resources Management position.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the Fair Work Act and its interactions with Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics, manufacturing or warehousing would be highly regarded.
