At SAI Home and Community, we support older people and people with disability to live safely and independently in their own homes. Based in South East Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula, we take pride in building robust relationships with our clients and providing care that’s reliable, respectful and personal.
We’re currently looking for a full-time Flexi Carer to join our team.
About The Role
As our Flexi Carer, you’ll be our go-to support worker Monday to Friday. You’ll work up to an 8 hour shift each day between 7am and 6pm (times agreed in advance).
This role is based out of Dandenong North (or nearby), with travel to clients’ homes within a 30-minute radius. This may include suburbs such as Balwyn, Burwood, Moorabbin and Pakenham.
You’ll be supporting clients with day-to-day tasks such as:
- General housework like tidying, laundry or dishes
- Personal care including help with showering and dressing
- Preparing simple meals or doing a grocery shop
- Driving clients to appointments or errands
- Providing conversation and friendly company

What we’re looking for
- A kind and reliable person with a genuine interest in helping others
- Strong communication and time management
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support or Disability (required)
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates
- A valid driver’s licence, your own car and comprehensive insurance (required)
- Willingness to complete an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check
