Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and processing provider invoices, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are carried out in accordance with quality standards and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain accurate records of provider invoices and accounts payable transactions, adhering to defined service quality standards and health and safety policies.
* Review and approve invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.
* Plan, prioritize and effectively manage provider invoices and accounts payable transactions, aligning with the strategic plan of the Department of Health.
* Manage and maintain a database of pre-approved providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
* Provide expert accounting advice to Accounts Officers and other staff, aligning with Financial Accountability Act and subordinate departmental policy.
* Reconcile financial data between approved Queensland Health and Surgery Connect financial reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
* Drive business process improvement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislative requirements.
* Manage provider complaints and provide solutions that achieve positive outcomes, aligning with Surgery Connect and Queensland Health policies.
