to join our team. You can choose to deliver any of our courses —
First Aid, CPR, Pool Lifeguard, or Perform Rescue from a Live Low Voltage Panel
— depending on what you're qualified in and what you enjoy most.
We know life can get hectic, so we offer complete flexibility. Do a little, do a lot — we'll work with you to shape a schedule that fits around your world. You'll need a Cert IV in Training and Assessment plus the relevant qualifications for the courses you teach.

Role Description
As a Casual Trainer you will deliver high-quality training sessions to individuals and groups in a range of First Aid related courses. You will use our materials to deliver high impact workshops - ensuring compliance with regulatory standards - and will assess participants' knowledge and skills. The role requires creating a supportive and interactive learning environment while adhering to organisational standards. Training might be held at our bespoke training rooms at West Beach, or out on client's premises.
Essential Skills:
• TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent.
• Current qualifications in the field of training delivery.
• Experience in training and assessment.
• Excellent presentation and training skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
• Awareness of Surf Life Saving SA and its culture.
• Experience in delivering accredited training.
• Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised as well as in a team environment.
• Opportunity to work across 7 days and able to travel to course locations within
metropolitan and regional areas.
