Drive and Deliver
Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials involves more than just transportation. Our agitator drivers provide high-quality customer service, becoming the face of our business. You will make multiple deliveries daily, interacting with diverse clients. Every day offers new experiences
About the role:
* Rates: $29.73/hour plus penalties (time and a half after 8 hours, double time after 10 hours). Rate increases to $30.72 after 12 months.
* Start times typically between 4am and 6am, with shifts up to 10+ hours, totaling approximately 50-55 hours/week. Saturday work is available at overtime rates.
* Overtime pay applies after regular hours: first two hours at time and a half, beyond that at double time. Meal allowances are provided after 10 hours.
* This role is akin to being a Customer Service Agent on wheels, requiring comfort in interacting with various personalities daily.
* We equip you with advanced technology to ensure safety, optimize routes, and track loads.
* All new drivers undergo a 10-day training program before working independently.
About you:
* Must have HR license (essential) and driving experience (preferred).
* Enjoy meeting and chatting with people on-site.
* Value variety; no two days are the same driving our trucks.
* Take pride in truck presentation; keep it clean and professional as it represents our company.
* Able to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing (random testing at sites).
