What They're Looking For
* 10+ years of experience in Structural Engineering, with a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
* Proven ability to lead small multi-disciplinary teams on design projects
* Experience mentoring and coaching engineering personnel
* Strong background in conducting project designs and design reviews
* Ability to execute projects and studies on schedule and within budget
* Skilled in developing efficient and economical designs
* Sound knowledge and adherence to company design standards
* Thorough understanding of relevant Australian and International standards
* Ability to devise practical and economical solutions requiring originality and ingenuity
* Extensive experience using and interpreting structural analysis software (specifically SpaceGass and/or Strand)
* Strong communication skills with engineers and designers, with a clear understanding of engineering deliverables and design intent
* Active engagement in design reviews with clients
* Experience forming relationships and liaising with vendors
* Proven track record of business development, including finding, securing, and executing studies and projects
* Willingness to undertake onsite work, including structural remediation and structural integrity audits
