Contract Manager
Location: Perth, Western Australia

We are looking for a Contract Manager to join our Legal & Contract Management Team in Perth, supporting the execution of large-scale renewable and storage projects from contract signature through project completion.
What You'll Do
* Manage project contracts to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and commercial requirements.
* Interface with internal departments to ensure alignment with contractual obligations, company policies, and applicable laws.
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve contract management strategies and best practices.
* Administer project communications, negotiate contract amendments, variation orders, and settlement agreements.
* Support Business Development during tenders, providing contractual input and negotiation support.
* Collaborate with Procurement to negotiate supplier and subcontractor agreements.
* Partner with the Legal team on contractual and compliance matters as required.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives within NHOA's contract management framework.
* Manage contract-related risks, claims, and disputes, coordinating with Project Managers and key stakeholders.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's Degree in Law (Master's Degree a plus).
* 3–5 years' experience in contract management within the construction, energy, or industrial sectors .
* Proven ability to manage complex, large‑scale contracts and negotiations.
Technical Skills
* Strong understanding of contractual principles, risk management, and dispute resolution .
* Familiarity with Australian legal practices and compliance obligations .
* Proven experience in claims management for engineering or construction projects.
* Familiarity with EPC contracts and standard contract models such as FIDIC, experience in insurance claims and dispute resolution and exposure to large‑scale renewable or energy storage projects will be considered a plus.

* Strong interpersonal and negotiation capabilities.
* Strategic thinker with attention to detail.
* Collaborative and proactive mindset, comfortable working across teams and disciplines.
Candidates must have valid Australian working rights (citizenship or permanent residency).
