About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong understanding of end-to-end residential construction processes, materials, and costs. You’ll play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring our projects are delivered on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing detailed cost estimates for residential construction projects
* Reviewing project plans and specifications to determine scope
* Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
* Evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotes for accuracy and value
* Managing purchase orders and procurement timelinesMaintaining cost databases and historical records
* Assisting with bid proposals and tender documentation
* Monitoring project costs and reporting on progress
* Contributing to project meetings with cost-related insights
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as an estimator in residential construction
* Strong proficiency in DataBuild is a must!
* Strong analytical and mathematical skills
* Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities
* A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively
