Job Overview
As a Civil Engineer within our Energy team, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering high‐quality solutions for clients, focusing on large‐scale substation projects and other energy infrastructure such as BESS, solar, and wind.
Responsibilities
* Undertake concept and detailed design of large‐scale HV infrastructure including substations, BESS, solar and wind projects.
* Design earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, layouts and other civil components.
* Develop detailed civil engineering designs, reports, technical specifications and relevant documentation.
* Assist in advancing digital engineering and digital innovation within the team, providing innovation and creativity to increase digital efficiencies.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working within energy projects (substations, BESS, solar and wind projects) – essential requirement.
* Minimum Australian‐recognised Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
* Design experience within the energy (power utility) sector, minimum 1 year, focusing on bulk earthworks, roads and drainage.
* Experience on windfarm, BESS, substation, transmission and distribution projects is highly favourable, especially within NSW.
* Proficiency in civil modelling and relevant design software (e.g., Civil3D, 12D).
* Ability to work seamlessly within a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross‐discipline teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
