**The Role**
Technical Sales Representative, driving sales for the company by highlighting what the company's offering to meet a given customer requirement and deliver on business lines profitability and sales targets. Total Cost of Ownership approach to drive customer value and actively develop current and seek new customers to grow the business.
**The Duties**
- Grow the business Line total revenue whist maintaining budgeted GP
- Ensure an understanding of customers' businesses (revenue base, geographical area, installed fleet, sales potential, business cycle).
- Ensure timely follow-up and high standard of written and verbal communication in trouble-shooting any processes that are not working as efficiently as possible.
- Develop sales opportunities within the defined territory or set of customers always ensuring CRM is up to date with valid cases and customer visit reports.
- Work with Product Line, and Sales Representatives on customer strategies that will affect the revenue and business profitability of the business.
- Investigate competitor activities and conduct relevant market research that enables the business unit to maintain market competitiveness. Ensure this information is communicated through the appropriate channels in the region.
- Coordinate the customer support together with technical support teams, training, parts and service (aftermarket/lifecycle) organisation.
- Play an active role in formulating budgets. And achieving of customer revenue targets through SIP & BAP process.
- Produce reports on customer and financial deliverables, including dashboards, data extraction, alerts, workflows and business strategy.
- Work with mechanical design engineers to ensure that the design produced satisfy the defined requirements
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated Sales experience / willingness to learn value sales techniques under the SM Training Program
- Well-developed understanding of the mining industry and associated equipment
- Understanding of customer business processes, with current active involvement with mining operations
- Ability to understand the key value drivers of customer and ability to build proposals addressing those value drivers
- High level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction. Ability to measure Customer Satisfaction and demonstrate actions related to specific
- Long-term sales development outlook with demonstrated ability to manage profitable delivery of services.
- Commercially astute with demonstrated business acumen and an in depth understanding of customer business processes.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate with customers at a senior decision-making level as well as the ability to manage business risk.
- Ability to travel - domestic and international (30-50%)
- Computer Systems Literacy
**Desirable Skills**
- Demonstrated technical product knowledge of Crushing and Screening
- Demonstrated CAD Program experience
