Job Title: Principal Power Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled power systems engineer to lead GPS studies in Western Australia and drive business growth.
This role involves mentoring team members, managing key client relationships, and ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining a strong safety culture.
You will work with our comprehensive range of services tailored to meet the evolving needs of the energy sector, including feasibility studies and network planning, grid connection design and engineering, power system modelling and analysis, regulatory compliance and grid code assessments, and project management.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, with a specialisation in Power Systems or a related field.
* Proficient in PowerFactory modelling and Python scripting for automation.
* Extensive experience in static and dynamic power system studies.
* Clear understanding of GPS study requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
* Business acumen, relationship building ability, and project management skills.
* Proficient in PSSE and PSCAD, with the ability to adjust models to project requirements will be highly regarded.
