Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and supervise the packhouse team to ensure peak performance, efficiency, and a positive work environment.
* Oversee fruit processing from intake to dispatch, ensuring product quality and operational efficiency.
* Manage packhouse startup, seasonal planning, and staff recruitment to guarantee a smooth workflow.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, certified quality systems, and export protocols.
* Conduct internal audits and maintain market access certifications to meet domestic and international standards.
* Collaborate with farm managers, quality control teams, and logistics staff to optimize the production process.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in packhouse or farm supervision, ideally within the fresh fruit sector.
* Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including HACCP and GAP.
* Ability to train, motivate, and lead teams.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance and market access requirements.
* Problem-solving and technical skills, with basic knowledge of machinery operation.
