About the role:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and standards.
2. Ensure the efficient and timely delivery of meals to customers.
3. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment in the kitchen.
4. Assist in menu planning and development.
5. Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.
6. Adhere to all food safety and health regulations.
7. Monitor food inventory levels and inform chef when supplies are low.
8. Communicate effectively with chefs and servers.
Requirements:
1. Relevant qualifications (minimum Cert IV in Cookery) and minimum 3 years' experience in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, specifically in the Chefs/Cooks sub-industry.
2. Proven track record of preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.
3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
6. Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes.
