Job Title: Registered Mental Health Professional
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals experiencing mental illness in the community.
* Coordinate holistic care for consumers of the Acute Care Community Team as a key worker, ensuring least-restrictive and culturally safe services are provided.
* Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated, recovery-oriented care that meets the needs of diverse service users.
* Work in partnership with service users, carers, and families to ensure comprehensive, culturally sensitive care is provided across all components of the mental health service, including inpatient and community-based services.
* Undertake triage, mental health assessments, care planning, and safety planning to support the recovery and well-being of consumers.
* Administer long-acting depot injections in the Depot Clinic and provide relief cover in the Clozapine Clinic as required.
* Practice and promote safe, efficient, and effective nursing care in accordance with national practice standards, local health district policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will have strong communication and collaborative skills, a valid authority to work in Australia, and a passion for delivering high-quality mental health services. Experience in mental health nursing is desirable but not essential.
