**Job Title:** Visiting Medical Officer in General Practice
We are seeking a skilled and experienced general practitioner to join our team as a visiting medical officer at Tenterfield Community Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing contemporary, comprehensive, and professional specialist services to patients in the Emergency Department and inpatients.
The provision of high-quality healthcare is paramount in this role. To achieve this, the ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work effectively with other health professionals. In addition, the candidate should have experience in emergency medicine and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
In terms of required qualifications, the successful candidate must hold a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of RACGP or ACRRM. They must also have evidence of recent and comprehensive experience in general practice and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development.

* This role is based at Tenterfield Community Hospital, which is an 18-bed acute medical hospital with an Emergency Department that sees around 300 patients a month.
* The hospital also has a busy Community Health Service and a community-based Mental Health team.
* The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
