Pro Rata amount of $86,153-$91,629 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 3) + Superannuation

Are you an IT professional with experience providing solutions to software, hardware and network related problems? Council is seeking a dynamic, customer focussed individual to join their Information Technology Service Desk Team.
Using your technical knowledge, you will troubleshoot issues and provide exceptional service to all clients. You will work closely within a team environment to deliver Level 1 service desk support to the organisation.
It is an ongoing condition of employment for this position to meet the necessary requirements to qualify for an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC) which includes Australian Citizenship and Police Background Checks (arranged by Council).

Application Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Information Technology and/or relevant work experience and skills in an IT support / service desk environment.
- Experience in providing first-level technical assistance by professionally answering, logging, and managing incoming support requests.
- Knowledge and understanding of Windows domain network support and administration, networking concepts, Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Good time management and organisation skills, the ability to effectively manage email queues, phone requests and on-site support while maintaining excellent customer service.
