Chester Hill High School (CHHS) is a comprehensive, co‐educational secondary school located in the Sydney Region as part of the Auburn Schools Educational Network. With a current enrolment of 993 students (840 mainstream, 153 intensive English students) and 92% of students from non‐English speaking backgrounds, CHHS offers a culturally diverse environment and strong community partnerships. The school has a free‐entry model (FOEI 169), an Intensive English Centre and an Inclusive Support Class.

Remuneration
Reward package valued at up to $156,253.00. Base salary ranges from $90,177.00 to $137,861.00, plus leave loading and employer's contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information
Job Code: 0000BAZE. FTE 1.000. The role requires approval to teach Technology. Candidates are also required to be approved and/or willing to teach Food Technology.
Selection Criteria
* Approval to teach Technology mandatory; approved and/or willing to teach Food Technology.
* Demonstrated capacity to work as a collaborative member of the TAS faculty and contribute to the development of programs and resources.
* Evidence of effective classroom management to promote a supportive and positive learning environment.
* Demonstrated ability to lead an inclusive learning environment that caters for engagement and differentiation of abilities, including gifted and talented students and those from non‐English speaking backgrounds.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you must commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this opportunity.
