Reporting into the Group Accounts Payable Manager, your role will include:
Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Continuously assess and enhance the accounts payable process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
Supervise a team of accounts payable officers, providing guidance and support.
Assign tasks, set goals, and conduct regular evaluations.
Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and encourage professional development within the team.
Review and reconcile discrepancies, resolve payment issues, and manage outstanding balances.
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors, adhering to payment terms and optimising cash flow.
Monitor compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Prepare and present periodic reports on accounts payable performance.
