About the role:
You will support the Communications Manager in delivering strategic media and public information campaigns.
* Plan, develop and evaluate communication strategies that promote organisational objectives
* Manage media responses in operational and emergency contexts
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging
* Contribute to community engagement and public awareness initiatives
* Assist in team coordination and support broader communications functions
About you:
You are a media-savvy communicator with a strong understanding of government and public sector environments.
* Degree-qualified in Media, Communications, Public Relations or related field
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced media or communications role
* Exposure to emergency or operational communications highly regarded
* Strong writing, editing and stakeholder engagement skills
* Team-oriented with a collaborative and adaptable approach
