About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Trade / Workshop Assistant to support our operations team in Perth, Western Australia. This role is responsible for coordinating equipment, maintaining workshop standards, and supporting project delivery across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and maintain a busy workshop
* Identify and troubleshoot basic servicing and maintenance needs of equipment, vehicles, trailers, and vessels
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workshop and equipment
* Record equipment movements and servicing using digital systems
* Support Supervisors and Managers as required
* Transport equipment to and from job sites using CMG vehicles
* Work collaboratively as part of a safety-focused team
* Operate in a marine environment, including working from vessels when required
About You
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Experience in a workshop or civil construction environment
* A strong commitment to safety and professionalism
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Willingness to work in a marine environment when required
Mandatory Requirements
* Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
* Current Driver's Licence
Desirable (Desirable licences may be obtained through CMG)
* Medium Rigid (MR) Licence
* Restricted Coxswain / Coastal Grade 2 or equivalent
* Forklift Licence
