Your new role
As a Cloud & Network Engineer, you'll provide a mix of project delivery and BAU support across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and core business applications. You'll work across deployments, upgrades, migrations, network improvements, and escalated troubleshooting. The role is predominantly work‑from‑home, offering excellent flexibility. However, candidates must be based in Sydney, as you'll be required to attend client sites in Northwest Sydney when hands‑on work or project activity is needed. You'll collaborate closely with a small team of engineers and gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and environments common across multi‑client MSP operations.
What you'll need to succeed
Solid understanding of IT systems, virtualisation, and storage technologiesExperience working in multi‑client or service‑based environmentsStrong networking knowledge: VLANs, VPNs, LAG, routing, switching, and traffic managementAbility to design and implement secure business‑grade Wi‑Fi solutionsExposure to cloud technologies across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaSProficiency with Microsoft platforms including Office 365, Azure, and Windows ServerExperience with virtualisation (Hyper‑V essential; others advantageous)Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, desktops, and networksUnderstanding of cybersecurity basics, risk identification, and remediationPrevious MSP experienceStrong documentation and project delivery skills
