Albury Treetops Early Education, Care and Preschool is opening its doors for the very first time, and we are looking for a passionate, motivated and skilled cook to take on the responsibility of designing and preparing an exciting, delicious, fresh and wholesome menu for our children each day.
Applicants with enthusiasm, a positive outlook and are excited about children's nutrition positive outlook are invited to apply.
Successful applicants within the role will:
· Have or have applied for a working with children check
· Be responsible for designing and auditing an appropriate rotating menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years which includes children with allergies and intolerances,
· Be responsible for all ordering and stock control,
· Be able to work autonomously, be reliable and well organised,
· Be able to maintain high levels of cleanliness and order expected in a safe kitchen,
· Be able to engage positively with Educators and children within the service.
· Holding a Certificate 3 in Cookery is preferred, but not essential with training able to be provided
· Food Safety Supervisor Certificate preferred but not essential as training is able to be provided
