The Role
The Home Economics Assistant will prepare resources to support teachers in delivering Food, Textiles, and Child Development courses. Responsibilities include weighing, measuring, and distributing food, cutting and organising fabrics, maintaining equipment and classroom supplies, cleaning classrooms, and assisting with food ordering and storage.
Applicants should be proactive, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong prioritisation and following of learning‐area processes and protocols.

Eligibility
* Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or holder of a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
* Valid Working With Children Check before commencing.
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before commencing.
