About you 3–5 years post-admission experience with some exposure to insolvency, commercial litigation, or a related disputes area Solid drafting and research skills with a sharp eye for detail Confidence handling client communication and building trusted relationships Pragmatic thinking with an ability to balance legal precision and commercial outcomes A proactive, team-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to firm culture A desire to work in an environment that values autonomy, balance, and genuine collaboration Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of insolvency and commercial litigation matters under supervision of a Principal.
Advise on corporate and personal insolvency matters including liquidations, administrations, and bankruptcy.
Draft and prepare court documents, affidavits, pleadings, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research, prepare advice, and assist with complex disputes involving company directors, creditors, and regulators.
Liaise directly with clients, barristers, and external stakeholders.
Attend court appearances and mediations (with increasing independence as experience develops).
Support senior lawyers and Principals in larger commercial disputes, recovery actions, and restructuring work.
Contribute to client relationship management and business development initiatives within the team.
Collaborate with a close-knit team to achieve results while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
