The Townsville Prison Health Service provides primary health care across Townsville Correctional Centre facilities.
Our nurse-led model delivers medication administration, chronic disease management, emergency response, and health education within a multidisciplinary team.

Competitive salary and benefits
Salary between $******* – $******* per fortnight (Nurse Grade 5).

About your opportunity
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver comprehensive primary health care within a correctional setting, including medication administration, chronic disease management, emergency response, and health education.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes for an often vulnerable population.
Requirements
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and current AHPRA registration.
Evidence of vaccination against VPDs and TB screening as per Queensland Health policy.
Ability to work all shifts and participate in on-call roster.
Current Queensland Corrective Services criminal history clearance.
Current Class C driver licence.
A probationary period may apply.
