About the role:
The Mental Health Emergency Consultation and Support (MHECS) Clinician is part of a multidisciplinary team. The role involves coordinating and delivering emergency mental health consultations, assessments, and support services to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises within MLHD. The Clinician collaborates with on-call consultant psychiatrists to develop care plans and supports emergency department clinicians across 32 hospitals in managing mental health risks, medications, and ongoing care plans.
The Clinician also performs duties as a Police Ambulance Clinician Early Response (PACER) Clinician, conducting emergency assessments in community settings with police and ambulance services, both in person in Wagga Wagga and virtually across the district. About You:

* Minimum 5 years of experience in the Mental Health profession.
