Job Overview
Noumi is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a key member of the Nutritionals division, this role will involve delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality outcomes across the production process.
This hands-on role reports directly to the Production Manager – Nutritionals and is responsible for monitoring and reporting on shift performance, identifying trends or process issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product integrity.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing or production experience, with mechanical or electrical trade knowledge, and a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt within a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and report on shift performance metrics
* Identify trends or process issues and implement corrective actions to ensure quality and safety
* Conduct inline quality checks and support continuous improvement initiatives
* Partner with Maintenance teams to ensure preventative maintenance and equipment checks are completed effectively
* Support the development and update of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Hands-on manufacturing or production experience
* Mechanical or electrical trade knowledge
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles
* Knowledge of filtration and spray drying technologies (desired)
* Formal qualifications in Dairy, Food Processing, Engineering or Competitive Manufacturing (preferred)
