Digital Technology Support Officer
Metro South Health is seeking a skilled Digital Technology Support Officer to deliver frontline digital and ICT support across multiple hospital sites. This permanent full‑time role supports Digital Hospital devices and end‑user computing environments, ensuring clinicians have reliable technology to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Installing, maintaining and supporting Digital Hospital devices and local ICT equipment, including workstations on wheels, barcode scanners, printers and downtime viewers.
* Providing proactive, on‑the‑floor technical support across Metro South sites to ensure digital systems are available for clinical use.
* Assessing, analysing and supporting complex IM/ICT changes, including documentation, risk evaluation and implementation planning.
* Installing, configuring, testing and optimising end‑user computing environments in line with approved capacity and standards.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues using a customer‑focused, solutions‑driven approach.
About You
You are a technically capable and service‑oriented digital support professional who enjoys working in complex healthcare environments.
You Will Bring
* Strong experience supporting Digital Hospital devices, desktop technologies and end‑user computing environments.
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Office 365, mobility devices and systems administration tools.
* Proven problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyse issues, understand system impacts and deliver practical solutions.
* A collaborative approach, working effectively with digital health, biomedical and eHealth Queensland teams.
* At least 5 years experience in the delivery of Digital Health services in the healthcare industry (highly regarded).
