About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and organised Contract Supervisor to oversee operations at an exciting event venue in Townsville.
This is a full-time position for someone who enjoys managing people, building strong relationships, and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards across service delivery while acting as the main point of contact for the client.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who leads from the front and is comfortable being on the tools while supervising day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
A key focus of this role is team development, clear communication of responsibilities, and ensuring the right training and tools are provided to all staff to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary point of contact for the venue and internal stakeholders.
* Manage and coordinate staff rosters to ensure effective service coverage.
* Oversee budgets and financial performance, including cost control and forecasting.
* Approve and manage timesheets and payroll inputs.
* Manage ordering and inventory of supplies and equipment.
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
* Resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Lead, coach and support on-site teams to deliver high performance.
You Should Have:
* Demonstrated experience in a Contract Manager or similar operational leadership role.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, ideally within education, facilities, or service-based environments.
* Proven ability to manage rosters, budgets, and operational reporting.
* Solid understanding of HSEQ requirements and compliance frameworks.
* Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills.
* Professional, polished, and capable of representing the company within a prestigious environment.
* Experience in cleaning, facilities, or operational supervision
* Be a practical, hands-on leader comfortable working on the tools
* Eligibility to work in Australia
* Current Police Check
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to apply)
