Heatseal, an Australian company, is seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team.
Our teams prepare and assemble a broad range of UPVC and aluminium double-glazed windows, doors, and flyscreens to specification ensuring high-quality workmanship and readiness for installation.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, installing, and replacing glass in various structures.

Task & responsibilities
Measure and cut glass to specifications
Install glass in windows, doors, and other structures
Replace broken or damaged glass
Ensure glass meets safety regulations
Work with various types of glass, including stained glass and safety glass
Collaborate with team determining type and dimensions of glass required
Laying glass over patterns on padded tables and in jigs measuring and marking glass for cutting
Examining glass and marking defective areas, cutting along patterns and templates
Breaking off sheets and excess glass with notched tools and glass pliers
Safely operate machinery and tools in fabrication and assembly of UPVC and aluminium frames
Smoothing rough edges using belt sanders and smoothing wheels
Cutting aluminium, UPVC, glass, screens and/or sheet material
Qualification & experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Glazier
Glazing experience in window manufacturing required; highly desirable would be exposure to double glazing
Strong knowledge of glass types and cutting techniques
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's licence
