About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance, this role leads high‐quality analysis across all corporate finance activities including but not limited to investment evaluation, valuations, capital management and financial planning and analysis.
This is a hands‐on, senior role where the quality of your modelling, analysis and output directly informs decisions made at Board and executive level. You will manage a direct report and work across a broad range of stakeholders including investors, ratings agencies and business unit leaders.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial evaluation of investment and development opportunities and strategic initiatives
* Build and review financial models to assess return metrics and investment hurdles
* Prepare high‐quality reports and presentations for Board, Executive and investor audiences
* Manage the preparation and delivery of annual financial review documents and quarterly shareholder and debt investor reports
* Lead the annual planning cycle including forecast, budget, Corporate Financial Model and Business Plan update
* Support business units in developing and owning their cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment across the Strategic Plan, Corporate Plan and Business Unit Plans
* Provide strategic financial guidance to business units to support pricing, operational and investment decisions
* Review and challenge business unit performance, including return on capital and value creation metrics
* Assist with capital management initiatives including refinancing, hedging strategies, dividend policy and annual capital planning
* Evaluate funding options and maintain relationships with financial institutions and investors
* Act as a key liaison with investors, ratings agencies and executive leadership, proactively engaging to assist with financial decision making
About you
You have a strong corporate finance background, gained through a professional service firm or an in‐house corporate finance function. You will demonstrate proven capability in business analysis, financial modelling, valuations and corporate finance.
As an essential team member within Finance and the broader airport team, you will be agile, detail‐orientated, calm in your approach and commercially minded. You will possess strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
* Post‐graduate finance or accounting qualifications (CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent)
* Experience in complex financial modelling, business analysis, valuations and corporate finance, from a corporate or chartered background
* Proven ability to prepare high‐quality investment papers and written reports for executive and Board audiences
* Advanced Excel and strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
* Strong commercial acumen with a solid understanding of key industry drivers and trends
* Ability to mentor and develop finance analysts and team members, fostering a high‐performance culture
* Good interpersonal manner and able to remain calm under pressure
