Project Coordination Specialist
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the coordination of capital infrastructure-related project construction work, encompassing scoping, planning, and execution. They will be responsible for verifying business partners' Job Hazard Analysis and ensuring compliance with safety standards, while also facilitating Construction Risk Assessment Workshops.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Engage proactively with stakeholders to gather information and effectively communicate relevant details.
* Develop and manage project construction schedules, closely tracking progress to ensure timely completion.
* Verify and sign off on business partners' Job Hazard Analysis reports to guarantee compliance with safety regulations.
* Conduct thorough Safety Engagements to identify potential risks and implement mitigating measures.
* Facilitate Contractor groups' onboarding process, emphasizing safety protocols and best practices.
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings packs, interpret site plans, verify deliveries against specifications, and develop contractor's work packs.
* Coordinate Inspection Test Plans and Reports, plant handovers, and general construction progress reporting.
Requirements:
* A motivated professional who excels in dynamic environments and prioritizes safety.
* Hold a mechanical or electrical trade qualification, with extensive post-qualification experience in mining, processing, and infrastructure sectors.
* Have completed the DMIRS section 26 exam or be in the process of preparing for it.
* Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing projects in similar roles within an infrastructure project mining environment will be highly valued.
* Exhibit exceptional multitasking, time management, problem-solving, communication, and planning skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Project, is essential.
* Display a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
* Possess a valid Driver's Licence.
