Our client, a Federal Government agency responsible for protecting Australia's natural environment and heritage sites, is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support the delivery of high‐quality ICT solutions across critical initiatives.
Duties of the Senior Test Analyst
* Create a comprehensive and thorough Test Plan that aligns with the overall program and/or project objectives.;
* Provide testing effort estimates to the project manager for completion of testing activities;
* Conduct testing activities such as planning, defining test data requirements, identifying testing environments, preparation and review of test cases and defect management;
* Provide leadership, including knowledge sharing with Test Managers and Test Analysts to aid in succession planning and execution;
* Extensive experience planning and executing testing for software systems and applications as per best practices and industry standards across various stages of the testing lifecycle.
Skills and Experience Required
* Automated testing using tools such as – Microsoft Power Automate, TOSCA or Playwright etc;
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in software testing and agile delivery and/or demonstrated experience working in federal government projects and initiatives in an ICT testing capacity;
* Experience delivering solutions using COTS products, including OOTB configuration and customisation, with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and DevOps‐led deployments (CI/CD, APIs, web applications, analytics);
* Experience in the testing of functional legacy custom applications and working with a diverse team including non‐IT specialists to identify gaps in system functionality \ documentation and to participate in phased modernization or system migration activities.
Technical Skills
* Experience in ICT development lifecycle and test tools i.e. DevOps
