About the role
Experience Broken Hill currently has a vacancy for an experienced full-time Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations our across our caravan parks and motel facilities.
Responsibilities include supporting housekeeping during peak times, managing online booking platforms, and performing after-hours On Call Duties to maintain guest satisfaction.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Manage reservations for multiple locations and welcome guests
* Support rostering, banking, and after-hours duties
* Assist with online travel agents and distribution channel management
* Liaise between teams and assist with housekeeping and laundry during peak times
* Record guest feedback and resolve issues
* Contribute to training and mentoring junior team members
About You
We encourage a collaborative and inclusive culture, where your contributions are valued, and your growth is nurtured. Along with a strong work ethic and ideally a minimum of 2 years hospitality or tourism experience in a customer service environment, you'll have/be:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
* Full Australian working rights or permanent residency
* Current First Aid Certificate, valid drivers licence, Working with Children and Police Check are essential
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle guest queries calmly and effectively
* Demonstrated confidence with cash handling, booking systems, and other front office operations
* Familiarity with online distribution platforms - Expedia, etc would be an advantage
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends, public holidays and rostered after hours duties
* A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences
