The role
The Correspondence Coordinator is a key member of the Office of the Deputy Director-General team. In this position you will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of high-quality correspondence such as reports, briefing notes, letters, memos, responses and other material for the Deputy Director-General of Corporate Services Division (CSD). This includes ensuring that all correspondence is distributed appropriately, is consistent with style guides, follows necessary review and approval processes, and is completed within required timeframes.
As part of this role, you will provide leadership of correspondence processes in CSD. You may be required to represent CSD at forums such as the Queensland Health Correspondence Network, act as a point of correspondence process expertise and advice, monitor correspondence process performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

The successful person
**You will have**:
- High level of attention to detail with demonstrated ability to collate, proof-read and edit high volumes of correspondence within an executive office.
- High level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with the demonstrated ability to professionally represent a work unit.
- Demonstrated time management skills and ability to use initiative, prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a high output and dynamic environment that is often time critical.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing improvements that optimise processes and outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in a range of computer programs and information management systems, including Microsoft Office and HP Content Manager (or similar).
- Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the functions and correspondence policies, processes and practices of Queensland Health and the Queensland Government.
