We create city-sized solutions-building and operating safer, smarter, and more sustainable roads-to solve pressing transport challenges that are slowing cities down.About the roleWe're seeking a Treasury Senior Analyst on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract to provide analytical support for the management of core debt facilities, financial and treasury operational risks.You'll join an innovative team, who drive treasury financial and non-financial risk management activities, compliance obligations relating to the Group's Treasury activities, and treasury management system capabilities.As our Treasury Senior Analyst, you'll contribute to lasting and positive changes that shape the future of our cities and communities. It's meaningful, challenging and exciting work.Day-to-day, you will:Maintain and develop treasury tools pertaining to financial risk management in funding and liquidity risk, market risk, credit risk and operational risk managementAssist in the development of Treasury governance documents and drive risk reporting and process improvements to assist with simplification and day to day operational efficienciesNavigate Treasury Management System for production of reports, transaction approvals and risk analysis as requiredEnsure Group Treasury models and systems are updated in accordance with Policy and procedures and advise other business areas on treasury risk management matters to ensure treasury risks are within risk appetiteContribute to the preparation, review, and production of covenant ratio certificates and the Production of regular treasury and risk reportingAssist with the interpretation of funding documentation and be a point of contact to lenders and other stakeholdersMaintain adequate controls for monitoring and reporting Treasury compliance obligations and ensure accurate, reliable, and timely reporting of Treasury risk metrics.Assist with the completion of half year / full year results and other periodic reporting requirements along with supporting the semi-annual Group asset valuation exerciseThis role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:Several years experience in Financial and Non-Financial Risk consulting, gained in a consulting and/or inhouse corporate environmentAny experience in Treasury is preferred, along with awareness of treasury compliance obligations and their implications.Knowledge of financial instruments for risk management is critical along with structured problem solving skillsAppropriate tertiary education in finance, actuarial studies, economics with strong mathematical and analytical skillsStrong presentation skills to communicate findings and recommendations in a clear and engaging way.Proficient with MS Excel, Word and PowerpointExperience with FIS Quantum, Bloomberg, Workday, Protecht, Power BI and Tableau for analysis and reporting purposes will be highly regardedIf you meet some of these requirements, but not all, we encourage you to submit your application.With a career at Transurban, you'll enjoy a range of benefits, including:A range of flexible working optionsLearning and development opportunities to support your career interestsHealth and wellbeing support-access to Headspace and our EAP program, wellness facilities, and moreSocial activities and groupsWe offer a range of flexible working and leave options, so you can balance your work and life commitments and interests.
