ABOUT THE ROLE
Working alongside our General Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the next chapter of this iconic venue. You’ll help elevate our service standards and lead our 200-seat dining room into a new era of hospitality at the Portsea Hotel.
Morris Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant Manager looking to grow their career, and to make their mark at one of Australia's leading hotels.
To be considered for the position you must possess the following.
* At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Sound background in a table service environment with high-quality, high-volume food and beverage
* Drive and maintain high levels of service with a focus on guest experience whilst elevating the venue's profile
* Problem solving and complaint resolution
* Ability to liaise with the Kitchen team
* Manage staff and drive growth of the team, this may include rostering and recruitment
* Implement and train staff in sequence of service and standards
* Ability to build, lead and motivate your team effectively
* A passion for food/drinks and a strong interest in industry trends
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage large and complex teams
* An understanding of H&L, Ivvy and SevenRooms a bonus
* Current RSA
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and peak holiday times
