The work you’ll leadOperations and ComplianceOversee project readiness and mobilisation, ensuring all operational, HSE, training, and site requirements are in place.Manage compliance, licensing, and training records to ensure staff, permits, and regulatory requirements remain current and audit-ready.Coordinate vehicles, plant, equipment, and stock to maintain operational readiness, efficiency, and accurate asset tracking.Monitor operational costs, revenue, and profitability, providing insights and reporting to support decision-making.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency as the business grows.Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the HSE Management System.
People and PerformanceManage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, HR support, and acting as the first point of contact for people employee performance through clear expectations, regular feedback, formal reviews, and early intervention to support capability, accountability, and team development.
Business Development and GrowthLead the establishment and scaling of the business’s second office in identify and communicate business development opportunities to support revenue growth, including preparing job quotes for review.
Client and Stakeholder EngagementMaintain strong communication with clients and external stakeholders, addressing issues early, and supporting effective outcomes.
This role is for you if you have:5+ years’ experience in a leadership role within operations, compliance, or project delivery.Experience in environmental, land-management, mining services or a similar industry.Demonstrated experience managing HSE, HR, systems and financial processes.Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.Continuous improvement mindset.
Highly desirable:A degree in Environmental Science/Management or Cultural Heritage Management.Demonstrated experience working with Traditional Owners and managing heritage or social heritage experience scaling teams or branch with Pilbara ecological or land-management projects.
