ABOUT US
The Salvation Army is a Christian movement and one of Australia's largest and most-loved charities. We believe in doing good that transforms lives and futures for the better. It is this belief which drives us to find new ways and places where we can make a difference. From times of personal crisis to moments of national grief, we are always here — providing support, safety, community, and opportunity.
The Oasis Community Shop is a social enterprise providing valuable vocational training and employment pathways for young people as well as support to our broader community. We provide a place for all community members to access low-cost food items and to provide training, learning and volunteering opportunities.

The Oasis Community Food Shop has a number of different volunteering opportunities these include, working and serving customers in the shop, packing and ensuring food supplies are well stocked and driving to pick up food deliveries loading and unloading for the shop from local large food suppliers.
