Public Place Cleaner Role
As a Public Place Cleaner, you'll take on a hands‑on, physically active role to keep public areas clean and welcoming. Your responsibilities include:
* Collecting litter and servicing bins
* Spot cleaning and maintaining hygiene standards
* Operating cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
You'll start early at 4:00 am, finishing by early afternoon – perfect for those who love having the rest of the day free. You'll work outdoors in all weather conditions, often independently but always as part of a supportive, community‑focused team.
What We're Looking For
* Early riser: Comfortable with early morning starts
* Team player: Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
* Physically fit: Able to perform manual tasks and operate equipment
* Tech‑ready: Basic computer skills for logging tasks and communication
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
* Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles
Benefits
* Temporary full‑time (up to 6 months) 38 hours per week with a 9‑day fortnight over a 7‑day spread
* Package: From $63,360 gross p.a. plus 12 % superannuation
