About the Job
Working as part of our Open Space, Recreation and Property Portfolio this role is responsible for delivering landscape design and construction of projects.
This will include involvement for strategic scoping, concept design, community engagement, detailed design, and construction documentation of practically sustainable landscapes.
Skills in design thinking and visual communication are critical to ensure delivery of effective projects for the community.
These skills will need to be used in a adaptable manner with a wide variety of project sizes, from small planting plans to full reserve redevelopment.
There are opportunities to strategically partner with internal and external stakeholders (including community, state government agencies, and private developers) for providing practical technical landscape design solutions shaping the city for the future.
Successful project management requires for adaptive workload prioritisation to affectively deliver to the variable scale of projects at The City of Charles Sturt.

This position is offered on a 2 year fixed-term, fulltime basis and is classified at Level 5, with a starting salary of $96,899 per annum + Super.
