Formworkers and Concreters Residential Work
Experienced all rounder with skills in Formwork, Concreter and steel fixing for Residential Work at OSB Group. Full-time opportunity in Perth WA 6000. As an experienced Formworker and Concreter, you will be responsible for constructing and dismantling formwork, placing and finishing concrete for residential construction projects. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork installation.
Leading hand position also available to manage the formwork and concrete crews. Leading hand role will also be a hands-on role. Preferred leading hand candidate will have all round residential construction experience.
What you'll be doing
- Construction of tilt up panels and precast panels for residential project.
- Placing and finishing concrete for residential slabs, foundations, walls, and other structures.
- Forming decks using conventional timber and ply and decking pans.
- Ability to tie reo for panels and slabs.
- Leading hand will be required to organize concrete pours, manage requirements and delivery of formwork and related sundries.
- Leading hand will also be permitted and encouraged to recruit workers for projects.
- Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Formworker and Concreter, preferably in the residential construction industry.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Formworker and Concreter is required.
- Experience in precast and tilt panel construction, must have working with tilt panel ticket.
- It is preferable that leading hand candidates have tilt up supervisor ticket.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of concrete pumps, power tools, and other construction equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Certification in relevant construction trades and a valid driver's license.
- Australian work rights are required, with valid work visas accepted.
