Overview
Make an Impact as a Business Development Manager with ProQuest Consulting. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic sales professional located in Sydney, who is keen to harness our growth and expand our delivery of Salesforce solutions to a wider range of Australian companies.
In this senior role, you will lead the sales cycle end-to-end and become the trusted advisor for your portfolio of customers, leveraging the Salesforce / MuleSoft platform and its ecosystem. Working closely with our delivery team, you will champion cross-functional collaboration to drive outcomes. In the mid-to-long term, you may take a more strategic role in propelling our business forward, expanding into new markets and growing our sales capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales cycle end-to-end for a portfolio of customers, acting as a trusted advisor and collaborating with delivery teams.
- Utilise the Salesforce / MuleSoft platform capabilities to drive business outcomes across industries.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure successful implementation and delivery of solutions.
- Assist in expanding into new markets and growing sales capabilities over the mid-to-long term.
Qualifications
- Ideally over 10 years of sales experience with a sales target, with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Experience in hunting prospects, networking and building a pipeline of recent logos.
- Experience selling a complex product/service to infrequent buyers.
- Experience qualifying leads and executing a sales process from initial meeting through to contract negotiation and sign-off.
- Strong negotiation and objection management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform and its products (highly regarded).

- Technology savvy with Google Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and SaaS/Salesforce tools.
- Excited about guiding customers on their Salesforce journey.
