About Home Care Support Roles
We are seeking individuals who are passionate about supporting older people to live independently at home. A caring, empathetic nature is essential, along with a genuine commitment to building respectful relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients in their homes, with responsibilities tailored to individual needs.
* Carry out general household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying.
* Prepare light meals and support safe food storage.
* Maintain hygiene in kitchens, bathrooms, and shared spaces.
* Provide social support or transport to appointments and community activities.
* Monitor clients' wellbeing and report any concerns.
* Support clients in line with their individual preferences, cultural background, and values.
* Help ensure the client's home environment is clean, safe, and comfortable.

Mandatory Requirements:
* Qualifications: Home Care Worker - Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (or higher, incl. nursing students), Home Care Domestic Support - No formal qualification or prior experience required.
* Driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
* Current First Aid & CPR certifications.
* Checks: Working with Children Check (Employee), National Police Check OR NDIS Worker Screening, Vaccinations: In line with Uniting AgeWell's policy.
