We currently have a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract available in our business analysis team. This role will be focused on compliance initiatives, working with Change Mangers and Projects Managers in a traditional projects environments managing light data analysis, gap analysis, system identification and tool procurement.
What You'll Do
* Work collaboratively with the project team to analyse data points to support service improvements and validate design concepts
* Engage with business stakeholders to understand current pain points and future business aspirations
* Capture business requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria that adhere to HBF standards within agreed timeframes
* Work with technical team members to communicate requirements, support solution design, defect identification and analysis
* Document current state and future state business processes
Let's Talk About You
You are a seasoned Business Analyst with experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and partner with Agile delivery teams and more traditional project teams with ease. You navigate stakeholder needs, lead workshops confidentially and have sharp attention to detail. You are collaborative, delivery-focused and show positive behaviours. Known for your disciplined approach to work, you thrive in fast paced and ambiguous environments, and you prioritise and complete tasks on time without compromising quality.
Your technical toolkit includes proficiency in Jira and Confluence, and you are skilled in user story decomposition, facilitating estimation sessions, and translating solution design diagrams into actionable technical stories. You have a strong ability to absorb complex information, apply analytical thinking, and deliver clear, effective problem-solving.
You will hold IIBA or BABOK certifications, have knowledge of controls by design and risk management processes, and ideally have experience in insurance or financial services.
