Job Responsibilities
- Installing, configuring and optimizing high precision instruments.
- Perform routine maintenance, service, and calibrations of laboratory and inline analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
- Provide advice, training and technical support to our customers in various industries, as well as supporting our sales teams.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain technical issues and solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends with METTLER TOLEDO technologies.
- Integrating these instruments and their data software into our customers' IT systems
- Cooperating in an interdisciplinary team within METTLER TOLEDO
Requirements
- Willingness to continuously learn about new products and systems for which extensive training will be provided.
- Broad basic understanding of scientific principles, especially physics, chemistry and electronics
- Positive relevant hands-on skills, such as soldering, making electrical measurements, disassembly/reassembly and preparing chemical solutions
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Flexibility and availability to travel. Interstate travel on a regular basis is required.
- Demonstrable experience of office and technical software (MS Word and Excel)
- Valid Driver's Licence essential & willingness to travel within a defined geographical area.
- Strong customer focus, we want you to be our customers' trusted advisor
- Relevant technical training – e.g. degree or technical diploma
- Good application and network skills (ideally also knowledge in Windows based applications)
