This is a fast-paced and rewarding position where you will liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure every project is executed efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Procurement & Budgeting:
* Procure materials and services while ensuring compliance with Australian Standards.
* Accurately estimate and assess building material take-offs required for all project stages.
* Process Bills of Quantities (BOQs), prepare purchase orders (POs), and manage budgets and cashflows.
2. Documentation & Compliance:
* Prepare tender packages, review quotes, and manage contract variations (VQRs).
* Organise building permits and ensure all documentation and applicable permits are in place prior to and during construction.
* Conduct handovers, including obtaining occupancy permits and liaising with clients.
3. Stakeholder Management:
* Collaborate with site supervisors, consultants, clients, and local councils to manage all aspects of the construction process.
* Liaise with contractors and identify opportunities to engage new suppliers.
4. Project Coordination:
* Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
* Prepare site folders, signs, and laminated plans for the site team.
* Resolve discrepancies by collecting and analysing project information.
5. Reporting & Claims:
* Generate progress claims, issue variations, and manage extensions of time (EOTs).
* Provide regular client reporting and ensure all milestones are met.
